A two-sport athlete at Brockport she was a member in the girls' soccer as well as lacrosse team's. Norman was recognized for her outstanding performance as a soccer player at Brockport and she was a player as a defensive player on the ball. When she was defensive defender, she excelled at blocking the ball. Also, she made intelligent decisions when it was time to assess the offensive capabilities of an opponent.
