Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, he relocated along with his parents in Casper which is located within western part of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father was the director of the district for soil conservation in Casper of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
