Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first person to reach a flawless 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci at just seven years old. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969 and finished 13th. She took the title in 1970. In 1972, at a meet of communist countries juniors before the Olympics, she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974, she became the overall junior champion. When she competed for the first time in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals as well with one silver. In 1976, she took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and was the first female to ever dismount bars in parallel with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career in the entertainment industry in her teens, when she performed as the figure skating duo of the sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol was a professional in the entertainment business when she was a teenager. Early on Carol was an ice figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. These shows were ice skating events that included theatrical performances.
