April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4th April, 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began to take piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. At the age of 12 April composed her first single Different. She spent a lot of time at 14 writing songs and practicing music. Then, in the following months, April began to travel with her dad and to write songs either in NY and LA. April was also able to add other themes in the song "Take My Hand" for some of friends who dealt with concerns like peer pressure disabilities, and even teenage suicide. Lockhart is also gaining a growing following as a lifestyle influencer as well as a spokesperson for the popular Clean Beauty company Ilia. She has a disability that is a component of her persona, however it's not the entire image. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not ignore her being disabled however, it doesn't focus on it. The point? That we all contain multitudes and that we are all unique and that we are beyond our physical bodies. Lockhart through a video message from Nashville home, says that I do not want my physical appearance to define me. I am more than my physical self. This doesn't influence my day-to-day life. I conduct the same way as I always do and have found my own methods to adjust. This is a major element of my life so it is important to talk about the subject. Lockhart, a real motivation for self-acceptance generally and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve it.
