Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress, is known for her roles as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. Also, she played the roles of characters from the telefilm Nightingales, the NBC series with the same name (which lasted only a few episodes), Erica Paget on the CBS show Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio on the TV show Psych. The native of California, Swinson started acting at a young age. She was a part of the world of advertising, appearing in many commercials. She first appeared on the screen in 1984 during NBCs It's Your Move episode. The actress made her debut on the big screen in romance comedy Pretty in Pink. Swan gained notoriety for her lisp of blonde and her breathless voice. She's recently shifted between main characters and side ones. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
